Ex-Genk Star Ogunjimi: Onuachu Will Flop In Premier League

Former Genk Star Marvin Ogunjimi says the English Premier League is not the ideal destination for Paul Onuachu, reports Completesports.com.

Onuachu has been in devastating form for Genk in the Belgian Pro League this season.

The 26-year-old has scored 29 goals and provided two assists in 33 league appearances for the Smurfs.

The Nigeria international played a significant role in Genk’s Belgian Cup win against Standard Liege last weekend bagging an assist in the 2-1 win.

The forward is expected to leave Genk this summer and Ogunjimi insists he could struggle should he move to England.

“A player like that could actually end up in England, but it should an attacking team Ogunjimi told Sporza.

“If he plays with a team such as West Brom or Southampton, like Wesley, ex-Club Brugge, he will be less successful.”

  • I strongly disagree with you oga…

Remember, EPL play floating balls where Onuachu can benefit from…

One of the main reason Pep QUARDIOLA wasn’t effective in his first ternure at MAN CITY was long balls and he complained about it.

A team LIVERPOOL is a Typical example where ONUACHU can benefit.
The full backs float in long and dangerous balls into the box for him to do the needful.

He can only florp in spain, germany were TIIKKI TAKKA is played…

    Only soccer genus will know…

Read full story and under what the guy said before you shoot. Many of you are like this on this forum. Bro said don’t goto weak, defensive or struggling teams in England instead he feels Onuachu will make it in an attacking top team in same England, i wonder why CS is saying something odd trying to put this gentleman in trouble with such disturbing headline to the spotlight.

You didn’t read the full story as well and you’re already throwing insults. And you think you have fought back SMH.

  • He needs a club where he will receive lots of support and supply from his teammates. Not a below average team where they dont have good creative players. He is not an iheanacho or osimhen. He can’t out run, dribble past or bully defenders. He is more of an in the box striker. Without supply he will be ineffective. So he needs to choose his next club wisely.

OGUNJIMI said exactly the same thing when Ndidi was moving from Genk to Leicester. And he has been proved wrong.

  • Maybe he shd move to Norwich, Brighton or Newcastle there system of play might suit him better

    Nigeria and wahala.
Boko Haram don put their flag for Niger state. Abuja is just a 2 hour drive from their current location.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Maiduguri, Nigeria Airforce accidentally dropped bomb on Nigeria army, killing 20.
    Na God we dey look.

When they say ‘you can’t, that is when you say, YES, I can. Onuachu, don’t let anyone who have failed in their own life, put you down. Who is this Ogun-what? He just came out from the wood-work and start to tell you of your limitations in a profession that God has endured you to do for yourself, your family, and your Nation. Ogun is nobody but god of iron and therefore not your adviser. Ogun is an enemy of nature and man. God has already ordained you to go anywhere He directs you to go. Ogun-what can not advice, nor stop you from getting there. Nigeria, as a Nation, will continue to need your services in the profession you are striving in. May God continue to help you and guild you at all time. Amen.

  • I heard that burney needs his service
