Victor Apugo expressed his delight with the level and standard of their training facilities while revealing his motive for bringing the Spaniard, even though they have some highly trained Nigerian coaches in their ranks.

However, we wanted to take things to another level as we prepare for this tournament and what better way to do that than having someone like Inigo who has played at the highest level exchange ideas with our coaches.

“We already run European curriculum for our trainings here, but we don’t relent, so once in a while we bring in top managers or ex players to come and see what we’re doing and also show us ways to improve our training regime.”
