Former Nigerian goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph believes the Super Falcons have the firepower to silence the host, Morocco in the ongoing 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Recall that Nigeria pipped the Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon 1-0 on Thursday thanks to Rasheedat Ajibade’s decisive goal on 58th minute to seal a semi final ticket.

With the host standing in the way of the Super Falcons, former Atlanta Olympic gold medalist told Completesports.com that the players are in high spirit to overcome Morocco.

“It will be difficult for Morocco to shock the Super Falcons despite playing in front of their home crowed.

“No doubt, they are a good side but the Super Falcons are a better team and will show their class against their host. Their home supporters will be silenced regardless of the noise they make.

“I am confident the Super Falcons will defeat Morocco in the semi final.”

The Super Falcons would be a hurdle so hard for the host Moroccans to scale. The noise from their fans would rather be a source of pressure for them.Morrocco has been a good hosts, but Sorry, This is the end of the road for them.

Can someone with access to Onumonu and our players tell them to start aiming their shots at the grass!? Why? lt completely eliminates over the bar wasteful shooting and lost scoring chances. Really, there’s no excuse for shooting over the bar, unless you’re under serious pressure with one or two seconds to shoot. All you have to do to stop shooting over the bar, is by remembering to consciously aim your shots at the grass, rather than just hammering it and hoping for the best. It is that “stupidly” simple but nobody seems to realize it. Not even all the coaches Nigeria has paid millions over the years. The prolific,
but injured Asisat should take note of it too. Oh, also, ladies, stop ball watching your opponents’ wingers when they’re about to cross the ball. They can’t cross and head the ball in too. Look behind you. Look behind!! Those are the ones that tap or head it in before you turn and realize they’re there waiting. Again, none of our coaches at all levels and genders have ever corrected it. Very frustrating to see over and over costing matches and tournaments. Please, pass these two things on to every player on Nigeria’s national team too. Thanks!
