Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph says he’s optimistic the Golden Eaglets has what it takes to overcome Burkina Faso at the ongoing 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
Recall that the two teams will clash in the quarter finals of the competition for a place in the semi finals.
The Eaglets finished as runners-up in Group B with six points, while Burkina Faso finished behind winners Mali in Group C.
Also, the winner of the encounter will book an automatic berth to the 2023 U-17 FIFA World Cup.
However, in a chat with Completesports.com, the Atlanta Olympic gold medalist, stated that Burkina Faso can’t stop Golden Eaglets’ quest of reaching the semi finals.
“I expect a very tough game but I don’t see Burkina Faso stopping the Golden Eaglets in the quarter finals of the competition.
“Yes, they will be a bit physical against our boys going by the way they played against Cameroon however, I believe Ugbade would have watched their video clips and knows their weaknesses.”
