Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph says he’s optimistic the Super Falcons can shock the world at the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Recall that the nine time African champions will on Saturday know their group opponents when the draw for tournament takes place in Auckland.
The Falcons reached the knockout rounds of the 2019 World Cup hosted by France.

However, the Atlanta Olympic gold medalist, in a chat with Completesports.com, stated that the team is capable of upsetting any opponent at the tournament if they are underrated.
He also said that the calibre of experience in the team should help propel the team to glory.
“I have never doubted the capability of the Super Falcons to make the country proud at the world stage. Yes, it has always been tough but this time around I am optimistic they can shock the world.
“It is a matter of self belief. The disappointment of the African Women’s Nations Cup can spur the team to victory.”
