Exclusive: Don’t Neglect NPFL Players In Eagles’ Assignments –Nwosu Warns Peseiro

Former Nigerian midfielder, Henry Nwosu has urged Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro to consider players in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) worthy for a place in the senior national team.

He made this known ahead of the team’s international friendly game against the Desert Foxes of Algeria on Tuesday at the Oran Stadium.

Nwosu, who was unhappy with the limited chances given to NPFL players, told Completesports.com in an interview that the Portuguese tactician must not neglect the home based players.

“I am not really impressed with the limited chances give to players in the Nigeria Professional Football League in the Super Eagles.

“Yes, the foreign based players are the core part of his team, however, players in the league should be given the opportunity to also prove their mettle.

“It is not just a one game affair that will be used to judge them because there is always room for improvement. I appeal to Jose Peseiro to access them in international friendly games like the game against Algeria.”

So Ebube Duru is not enough for you .. the coach should flood the team with home base players that could not qualify for Chan.. all these ex international una wahala too much..

Since pesiro became coach he has always invited at least one home base player and Even started Duru in the last match. How many home base players are starting games for Senegal, even morroco with a very good league still have their foreign based players dominating their starting line up.. coach nwosu get busy like your mates in other African countries and like pesiro alone to do his job

Nwosu should look for a coaching job outside Nigeria and prove himself. Where you in another planet when our home based collected wotoristically in Friendlies with Mexico etc without any style of play and commitment.
We also watch them struggle against Ghanaian average team.Abeg just leave Coach Peseiro alone to do his job

NPFL until now is not graduting talented players just like Sunday Mba, Godfry Oboabona, Austin Ejide, the former NPFL who won Afcon. 2013 in South Africa on supervison if late veteran coach Stephen Keshi; NFF have been neglecting this leauge since 2007 when Enyimba had won African Clubs championship til now posing to lead to a weak one in Africa, posing to graduate weak players.I advice NFF to great overhaul on NPFL system and on their administration of clubs to an expert administrators, NFF must inact a law that any club at NPFL must accommodate their situation to public companies , have players insurance foŕ injuries, accidents, cumbering and restraining; any club at NPFL must have it’s especial stadium, especial training pitch, jim hall , especial hotel, any club must make an excellent contract with any players they would like register; NFF must control over any club at NPFL on administration, pitches , players positions at their clubs, NFF must impose for any club at NPFL to establish an academy which has an excellent coaches, the academy must graduate talented players for their clubs and national teams; NFF must creat nascent leauge belongs to NPFL from this leauge nascent and youth and olympic teams must be recalled by this leauge; after these overhaul policies I pet you Super Eagles can be full of based players who can compete forgien based players.
