Exclusive: Friendly: Eagles Will Impress Against Mexico –Rufai

Former Nigerian goalkeeper, Peter Rufai says he expect an impressive performance form the Super Eagles in Sunday’s morning friendly game against Mexico.

Rufai made this known in a chat with Completesports.com, where he said that the current squad will do everything to win back the fans love again.

Recall that Nigeria exited the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon in the Round of 16 and failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

“I am most happy with the inclusion of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) players to the squad and I hope they will take their chances under the new manager of the senior national team.

“In all, I am expecting a very good game from the team.”

Let’s hope our boys don’t go there to COLLECT WOTOWOTO in “impressive” fashion. It will be really impressive if we concede like 4 goals in the first 20 minutes, hehehe!
On a serious note, this is a chance for many of the lads to stake a claim in the team. I’m certain they will do their best to get an encouraging result.

Lolz @Pompei. Don’t worry, Super Eagles will make us proud against Mexico.

No room for wotowoto display against Mexico. Fingers crossed.

The match will be live on “FEED4U”. Good luck to Super Eagles. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

The match will be a good test for home based players.

I am not too particular about the result. I want to see cohesion, passion , team work. I will also be looking out for individual performances (particularly uzoho,Bassey & Dessers). Hopefully we come out on top.

Guys checkout this line up. Uzoho, Awaziem, Ekong, Bassey, Bonke, Aribo, Iwobi, Simon, Dessers, Moffi. This why I will always prefer a foreign coach for the SuperEagles.
