Adebayo Adeleye says there is a cordial relationship among the goalkeepers in the Super Eagles.
The 23-year-old was the among the three goalkeepers invited for Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.
The Hapoel Jerusalem shot stopper was named among the substitutes in the game with the Super Eagles trouncing their opponent 6-0.

The likes of Maduka Okoye, Ojo Olorunleke and Victor Sochima are the other goalkeepers eyeing the number one position.
“There is no rivalry among us (goalkeepers). We are one family here, challenging one another to do better.
“Whoever gets the nod to be in goal always have the support of others.”
Adeleye has made one appearance for the Super Eagles.

These are the three goalies that merit Super Eagles’ call-up, not Uzoho and Okoye.
If Oga Paseiro really wants the Afcon trophy badly, then he has to consider the three.
Uzoho and Okoye are not ready yet. We have to change the way we do things for us to make huge changes in Nigeria if we have to bþe among the best teams in the world.
If Oga Paseiro is reading this comment today, he should think twice before selecting his goalies for the Afcon and world cup qualifiers because the more the gaffer creates competition in the goalkeeping department, the better our goalies will be. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
