Eberechi Eze can’t wait to play in front of a packed Selhurst Park after enjoying his first match in front of Crystal Palace supporters.
2,000 fans watched the Eagles’ 1-1 home draw against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday at the Selhurst Park.
Summer signing Eze felt that the addition of an atmosphere made a difference to his side’s performance.
“It made a huge difference,” the midfielder told Premier League Productions. “I can’t wait to have everyone in the stadium.
“If that’s only 2,000 then I can’t wait [to have more]. It was a great privilege for me to play in front of them for the first time.”

Schlupp scored 10 minutes from time to earn Palace a point in the London derby. Goalkeeper Vicente Guaita made two excellent saves in added time to keep the score level, although Eze said Palace also could have won the game.
He continued: “the boys worked hard and we put in a good shift. On another day, a couple of the other strikes would have gone in. it’s massive credit to the boys.
“We worked so hard, our heads didn’t drop. We kept going until the end and we honestly could have taken it at the end, so it was a great performance.
“He (Guaita) had a great performance. I was scared with a few of the last chances, but he’s a great ‘keeper and it’s great to have him in our side.
“We can take momentum from this game. If we put in performances like that, more often than not we will get a result.”
