Eze Voted Premier League Player Of The Week

Eberechi Eze has been voted Premier League Player of the Week following his brilliant performance for Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Eze was selected as the best player this weekend by football facts and statistics website whoscored.com, after scoring and also assisting in Palace’s 4-1 win against Leeds United.

Eze scored his first Premier League goal for his new club with a sublime free kick midway through the first half, finding the top corner from 25 yards.

He then turned provider for Jordan Ayew, with his goal and assist coming from respective returns of two shots and two key passes.

The former QPR man worked tirelessly off the ball, too, as he made five tackles and four interceptions.

Also, he was included in whoscored.com’s Team of the Week that has the likes of Chelsea duo Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chillwell, Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United and Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur.

@YINKUS, You truly understand the English antics. Always ever brainwashing. Not taking anything from Eze, a decent player no doubt but never one to moan about turning down nigeria’s chance. I emphatically herein say, nigeria will never miss Eze and HIS LIKES. We will only miss that kind of player that will single-handedly lead nigeria to win the world cup and I am yet to see that player anywhere around in the world

    Congratulation Eze!

  • @Yinkus exactly what is on my mind. I watched the match and he waasnt the one that assisted Ayew goal it was Saha, they are only trying to hype the guy like their other players just to cap him and dumb him as usual.

@Tayo,I don’t think dropping this players are done deliberately.

What happens is England,Germany and most top football playing countries are awash with quality footballers. So you have to be in your best form consistently for many years to keep your place in the team, more like you are as good as your last match. But most players especially of Nigerian decent lacks consistency. They are making headlines today after one season they start dropping form. There are too many talents on the wings waiting to take the place of slacking players and the coaches aren’t patient neither, they play with the best at any given time.

How can someone who scored from a close free kick and assisted from a corner kick rate higher than Saha that scored in open play and assisted Ayew also from open play? Bruno Fernandex scored 2 goals plus 1 assist, Watkins scored 2 goals against Arsenal but still Eze got the POTW ahead of these key players?
Haba  CSN………….please corroborate and analyse the stories before publishing and feeding us with lies just because someone is paying you to hype him. You even can’t copy and paste correctly as whoscored never said that Eze assisted Jordan
