Fantasista Tips — Gameweek 3 of Champions Fantasy

This is the time where usually you would pull the Wildcard out of your pocket. Here are some names you just can’t miss for the double-headers.

Games came thick and fast, in this fast-paced crunched-up season. And when it comes to transfer options, there’s no time to dwell, especially when the most wanted double-headers of the group stage are about to happen.

As always, we are looking for 4 differentials, from all the possible time slots of the gameweek.

Ángel Correa | Atlético Madrid | M | 6.5M | In 0% of teams

Either in one of the flanks, or right next to Félix, this little talent is a Diego Simeone favourite. Two assists in his last two games are enough to warrant out attention for Tuesday’s early kick-off. Lokomotiv have conceded two goals in all of their last four games in every competition. Promising!

Lassina Traoré | Ajax | F | 5.0M | In 3% of teams

With a price tag of just 5.0M, he is your best bet to accommodate two “heavy hitters” in our front three. And, as if you didn’t know already, his next two games are against the foreseeable punching bag of group D: Midtjylland. He had one goal scored in the draw versus Atalanta, also won a penalty and might soon win your heart as well.

Luke Shaw | Man Utd | D | 4.5M | In 1% of teams

Ole is behind the wheel at Old Trafford and this season the best version of the English team has appeared in UEFA games. Telles will be out with Covid-19, so Luke is set to start. A trip to Turkey, to face a goalless Başakşehir, could mean yet another clean sheet for United, after a surprising one against RB Leipzig.

Luuk de Jong | Sevilla | F | 7.5M | In 1% of teams

Lopetegui’s team isn’t scoring too many goals right now, but when they do it’s this Dutch who most likely show up on the scoresheet. Krasnodar conceded 4 versus Chelsea in the last gameweek, and, most importantly, had a defensive unit that looked all over the place. It could be another though evening for them on Wednesday, against the 2020 UEFA Europa League Champions.
