In my fallible opinion, Jay Jay belongs on the list of the very best players to have ever played the game. The top ten. His ability was never called to question….the issue for his critics was always the end product. But even then, such artistry and mastery of the round leather will always make up for any shortcomings in his game. And the end product thing came in abundance in the latter stages of his career. He got so many goals and assists for Bolton Wanderers and Fenerbahce. And of course, he was pretty much indispensable for Nigeria.
