“I am incredibly proud of this selection. It is a great honor,” Dessers was quoted on his Dutch Eredivisie side Heracles’ official website.

“I can’t wait to wear Nigeria’s green-white shirt and look forward to the upcoming international match.”

Dessers who currently tops the goal scorers chart in the Dutch league thanked his club and his teammates for making it possible for him to get his first Super Eagles invitation.

“This would not have happened without the trust of the club and the cooperation with the team. I am very grateful to them for that. ”

Also invited to the Super Eagles for the first time is FC Koln right-back Kingsley Ehizibue.

The Super Eagles will host Sierra Leone inside the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on March 27.

But please Rohr inviting the new right back doesn’t mean Tyroone Ebuehi should be forgotten, when he hit 100% lets get him back, he is a talent.

Ebuehi’s move to Benfica has really truncated is career growth. He is too good a player not to be playing regularly.

I pray he get loaned out to a club where he will get regular playing time. Henry Onyekuru almost got same set back when he moved to Monaco, good for him he quickly got loaned out to Galatasary where he is playing and scoring as well.
