AC Milan manager Paulo Fonseca has revealed the reason why Samuel Chukwueze is not among the regulars at the club this season.
Chukwueze has struggled to hit top form since arriving the Serie A giants from Spanish club Villarreal last summer.
The 25-year-old scored once in 25 league appearances for the Rooseneri last season.
The Nigeria international however caught the eye with his impressive displays in pre-season.

The winger scored against Real Madrid and registered two assists versus Manchester City.
He has however struggled to maintain same level of form since the start of the season.
The former Diamond Football Academy star has made just two starts for AC Milan this season, with Fonseca insisting that he must improve on his performance before he can earn more game time.
“Chukwueze had a very good pre-season; I think he just needs to build confidence within the context of Serie A, where you have neither time nor space to think and must make the right decisions quickly,” Fonseca said in an interview with the club’s official website.
