Former Republic of Ireland and Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given has officially tied the knot with his longtime partner, Rebecca Gibson, in a breathtaking ceremony at London’s historic Westminster Abbey.
According to Daily Mail, the couple, who have been together for 13 years and share two daughters, exchanged vows at the iconic royal venue, the same location where Prince William and Kate Middleton married.

Because of the venue’s strict heritage, weddings at Westminster Abbey require special permission from both the royal family and the Archbishop of Canterbury, an honor granted in part due to Rebecca’s family ties to the monarchy.
The groom looked sharp in a classic black velvet tuxedo, while the bride wore a stunning, elegant white gown paired with a floor-length veil and a tight bouquet of white roses.

Family played a central role in the special day. The couple’s daughters, Gracie and Cassie, alongside Shay’s daughter from his first marriage, Sienna, all served as gorgeous bridesmaids.
