Fortuna Dusseldorf are reportedly set to make a five million euros bid to sign Waasland-Beveren’s Ghanaian forward Nana Opoku Ampomah. The German Bundesliga outfit are looking to bolster their squad further, having secured a 10th0place finish in their first season back in the top flight for five years last term.
And reports claim they were keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old left-sided attacking midfielder over the course of last season as he scored eight goals in 30 appearances for the Belgium Pro League side. Ampomah is thought to be keen to test his abilities in a stronger league and would no doubt be keen to play in Germany’s top flight, with Fortuna hoping five million euros will be enough to do a deal.
