Fraser Flattered By Arsenal Links

Fraser Flattered By Arsenal Links

Ryan Fraser admits he is flattered by rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal but he remains fully committed to Bournemouth.

The Scotland international winger is enjoying his most productive season since arriving at the Vitality Stadium from Aberdeen in 2013 as he has scored six goals and contributed 10 assists in his 32 Premier League appearances to date.

The 25-year-old’s impressive form has led to reported interest from Arsenal, with Gunners boss Unai Emery seemingly keen to add another attacking option to his squad during the summer.

Fraser admits it is hugely flattering to be linked with a club of Arsenal’s standing, although his focus remains firmly on Bournemouth. “I’m not going to lie, it’s very nice. It means you are doing something right,” Fraser told Sky Sports. “They are a huge club, a massive club.

When you see your name thrown around you always think to yourself that you are a Bournemouth player and you try to do well. “I’m not going to lie, you do feel good, especially when it’s a massive club.” The former Ipswich loanee has also assured Cherries supporters that he won’t let the speculation affect his performances on the pitch. “No, not really.

If you think like that I’ll probably have one [a bad game] at the weekend, my passing will be miles off,” he added. “I will just keep doing what I am doing, try to enjoy myself and try to win the game for my team. What will be, will be.”
