Friendly: Moffi To Lead Super Eagles Attack Vs Algeria

Lorient forward Terem Moffi is favoured to lead the Super Eagles attack in today’s friendly against Algeria.

The team’s leading marksman Victor Osimhen is unavailable for the game as a result of injury.

Moffi has impressed for his club this season, netting six times in eight league appearances.

The 23-year-old has been impressive in all the team’s training session since they set up camp in Constantine.

The striker scored a brace in the Super Eagles’ last game against Sao Tome and Principe in June.

Taiwo Awoniyi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Godwin Saviour and Cyriel Dessers are the other strikers in the team.

The friendly billed for the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium, Constantine will kick off at 5.30pm Nigeria time.

  • You’re not playing Algeria national team, but Algeria local team because that’s your level.

    Useless country

    • Lol! Another frustrated man!  Super Eagles is surely not the cause of your frustration o! If we like, we can play Gambian 3rd team. So far we are winning and progressing from being a useless country, we are good.

    • Guy u be fool o Algeria na big soccer nation all those Nigerian that are complaining that we must win should not forget that this is the same country that won the Arab cup with their local team now . Algeria national team that’s their A team is mixed with both home based and foreign based and most of their foreign based are not more than 6 players the rest are home or local players.

    • @sam I wrote yesteday that some people will not get heal from missing out of Quatar, this is true. We need to get heal so that all effort to rebuild will not be seen as rubish.

Italy has not qualify for world cup back to back and am not sure if they can be tagged as usless.

Let us win today and let the winning mentality begging again.

If se can win today’s game it will makes Tuesday own more competitive. Algeria will also want to win and I want to see how tactically can pesiro be against them.
So I pray we win today so that Algeria can give us run for our money come Tuesday

I am one of those who can never forgive the NFF and the Ministry of Sports for sacking Gernot Rohr and denying Nigeria a slot at the Qatar World Cuo.

Give Nigeria Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar and Mbappe, and we’ll still falter at football, because of corruption, greed and nepotism in the administration

If those guys you mentioned their names are Nigerians, I bet you they couldn’t have been famous. It’s either their career has been wasted at youth stage or been dropped at National assignment.
