It was not the best of World Cup preparations for Tunisia, as they suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat to Belgium in their final time up fixture before the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Carthage Eagles are now winless in their last three matches – drawing one and losing two.
Belgium took the lead midway through the first half thanks to Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard.
Charles de Ketelaere added a second on 53 minutes before Tunisia had midfielder Ismael Gharbi sent off just after the hour mark for receiving his secins caution.

With a numerical advantage, Belgium turned the screw. Kevin de Bruyne and Dodi Lukebakio added further strikes before Raskin completed the rout.
Tunisia are in Group F alongside Sweden, Japan and the Netherlands.
The North Africans will open their campaign against Sweden on June 15.
Tunisia will be making a seventh appearance at the World Cup since their debut at the 1978 edition in Argentina.
They are yet to progress from the group stage at the World Cup.
