NFF are pathological liars. I remember them claiming they don’t owe Rohr but now this news that they just paid him.

    https://guardian.ng/sport/rohr-receives-outstanding-salaries-as-super-eagles-record-full-house/

    • Dr. Drey 2 years ago

      Thanks for the heads up

“…The Guardian learnt that Rohr has received the last four months (out of the 8 months currently owed) of his outstanding salaries and other emoluments…”

And see the way the headline was nicely drafted as if its all been offset.

NFF, what happened to the remaining 4 months…? You guys are still debtors to the coach. You are still owing. When will it be paid…?

      • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

So it’s not even paid in full? What about all the sponsorship money that NFF received? Rohr’s 8 months salary is like a little of $300,000 and this pathetic federation can’t pay that Wow.

        • Dr. Drey 2 years ago

We cant afford $320,000 over 8 months, yet some day dreamers are requesting for $320,000 plus per month coaches for the SE…LMAOOo. That coach should just get ready to go years without receiving his salary

          • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

Truth be told Rohr has tried and it boils down to him understanding how the system works in Africa, patience, and love for this team. If the man was money hungry he would have been gone. Honestly if Rohr quits today NFF will just slide Yobo in as they can’t afford a high caliber coach. The sad part is that if they offset the owed salary… he’s going to have to wait another 1 year before he gets paid again lmao…

Onigbese oshi ni awon NFF now. They’re chronic, die-hard debtors.

    • Dr Simone 2 years ago

If NFF continue owing the coaches then let’s be rest assured that we will have to deal with a corrupt Set up.

Francis Uzoho is far better than you Okoye, stop leaking goals and prove yourself nobody buy your fineboy. Dr.Drey where is Oderinde and Koyemi? This forum no get action men again.

    • @DrSimone Uzoho that doesn’t get game time in his club is FAR better than Okoye who is always in action week in week out, I can see your understanding of football, well done sir

      • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

I just checked and realized Uzoho hasn’t played the last 3 games for his club. That is how far back I checked, it can actually be more than 3 cuz I only checked the last 3 games. Okoye is more active than Uzoho and had 9 saves in the game he played last sunday.

    • Francis Uzoho has not yet played for his new club this season. His last match and only match this season was back in August (we are now in October) for his old club APOEL Nicosia where they lost 4-0.

Having said that, given Okoye was the last to arrive, he is unlikely to play, as Rohr tends not to play anyone whom has not trained.

Whom are the alternatives? Sebastian Osigwe (age 27) of Lugano has performed creditably in September and October in the league. he attended the camp for the friendly matches between Tunisia and Algeria but did not play. He is in form and active.

Adebayo Adeleye of Hapoel Katamon. Our U17 keeper in 2017. He has continued his excellece in the Israeli second division last season and is a mainstay in their debut premier league season. He has had 2 maybe 3 clean sheets already in his first premier league appearances.

If we are serious about competition for places, we should not be calling a keeper who cannot get game time in Cyprus to our National team. We should only call those whom are active, fit and performing to a high standard. That will stop players signing for clubs only to go and sit on the bench.

Goal keeping aspect of the SuperEagles:

I want to beg the Super Eagles coach Rohr, to please, allow Francis Ozoho to be in goal. He is the best keeper among the three keepers we have.

Time for sentiment and favouritism is over. This is a clarion call to the coach.

I wonder why our goal keeper trainer is not seeing this.It is indeed fustrasting and needs immediate action.

    • Best player that has not kept in goal for his club in how weeks….this same Uzoho will make small mistake tomorrow and this same people chanting his name will turn on him…let’s watch

  • pompei 2 years ago

Lovely to see Okoye has finally arrived in camp.
All these talk about who is better than who is not called for.
Okoye, Uzoho and Akpeyi are all team-mates. Let them push each other to greater heights. At the end of the day, we will support whoever is selected to be in goal.
This is why I love goalies like Austin Ejide, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, etc. They fully support the goalie that is selected ahead of them. No bad belle. Let’s all join hands together to achieve our objectives.
