Fury To Joshua After Pulev Win: I’ll Knock You Out Inside Three Rounds

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury says he wants Anthony Joshua next and vows to knock him out inside three rounds.

Fury said this in a posted video on social media after Joshua’s ninth round knockout win against Bulgaria’s Kubrat Pulev on Saturday night in London.

“I want the [Joshua] fight,” Fury said. “I want the fight next. I’ll knock him out inside three rounds.

“There you go everyone. Anthony Joshua got asked if he wanted the fight and he went round the bushes. I want the fight. I want the fight next. I will knock him out inside three rounds. I can’t wait to knock him out.

After his victory against Pulev Joshua told Sky Sports: “Whoever has got the belt, I want the belt. If that is Tyson Fury, let it be!”

Fury’s US-based promoter, Top Rank’s Bob Arum, said: “It looks like the stage is set for the biggest heavyweight championship fight since Ali-Frazier in 1971, when Fury meets Joshua for the undisputed crown.

“We at Top Rank will start on Monday working to put that fight together.”

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn told Sky Sports : “Starting from tomorrow (Sunday), we make the Tyson Fury fight straight away.

“We know what we have to do. We know what we want to do. It’s about legacy.”

Peter Fury, the uncle and former trainer who led Fury to his win over Wladimir Klitschko, told Sky Sports about the proposed fight with Joshua: “They both have different styles.

“Tyson is a totally different ball game to Pulev. It would be a great fight. [The punches that knocked out Pulev] would not be landing on Tyson cleanly.

“Tyson is an exceptional talent himself. But if AJ can land, anyone is going down. But the same for Tyson – he’s a puncher as well. It works both ways.

“AJ is a little bit hesitant. When he fires a jab he needs to let his hands go. He waited too long.

“For me, AJ is too upright. There is no lateral movement. Tyson has all that in abundance, he is very awkward.”

It will surely be a hell of a fight whenever the two Champions meet. If only our Joshua can go for the body sometimes whenever his opponent exposes his ribs, he could be finishing them off earlier. As Tyson’s trainer said, Fury can be very hard to fight. But Joshua has a devastating paunch. Joshua upper-cut is a beauty to behold.

Someone should advise Joshua to eat a lot of plantain dishes. A blistering energy concoction from West Africa. It’s what the Cameroonians use to have an upper edge over the SEs—they can go 120 mins. It will give power to that brutal upper cut.

Joshua shouldn’t be scared of Fury. Be systematic in his training and NUTRITION!

    Funny enough
It’s the gimmick of boxers to diss on one another in the ring . Tyson Fury believes he’s the number one boxer in the planet and he’s shouting it out now for the whole world to hear. It’s logical for him to say he’ll knock AJ out within 3 rounds. But the truth is he’s taking AJ for granted as well .

AJ is not mince meat easy enough for him to demolish either . He’s been consistent even more consistent that Fury when it comes to boxing someone during this year. So in my own views I’d say AJ have a chance. He also needs to work harder . He’s got a great punch technique which could be an advantage. Tyson Fury could be a hard hitter but not as technical as AJ. Can AJ win Fury ? Yes as long as he’s able to work harder and study his opponents weakness in which I believe Fury has one.

It’s gonna be a storm . The ultimate world champion is gonna emerge in the new year.

I choose AJ anytime , Any day .
