Galatasaray have lined up a January bid for Olympic Lyon striker Gift Orban, Completesports.com reports.
According to Turkish website, Fanatik, the Turkish Super Lig champions want Orban to replace their injured talisman Mauro Icardi.
Icardi recently ruptured his ACL and is expected to miss the remainder of the campaign.
The Yellow and Reds are expected to move for Orban when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Nigeria international is seen as a capable replacement for Icardi.
The 22-year-old only joined Lyon from Belgian Pro League side, KAA Gent in January.
The striker is reportedly open to a move to Galatasaray.
He has only made five appearances for Lyon since his transfer to France this year, scoring twice.

WE HAVE SAID IT SEVERALLY THAT THIS GUY HAS HIGH QUALITY.
ORBAN, DESSERS ARE FAR FAR BETTER THAN BONIFACE. BONIFACE IS A EUROPEAN GOALSCORER DECIEVER.
** THE SAME THINGS HAPPENED TO RICHARD OWUBORIKI, J.AKPOBORIE, MIKE OBIKU. WHENEVER THEY ARE INVITED, THEY FAILED TO LIVE/PLAY TO EXPECTATIONS.
A lot of players are not good in the national team and these players must be replaced by upcoming prospects instead of recycling Umar and co.
The Germans pronounce Boniface as BONIFARCE. Are they on to something? Is Boniface a mere farce?
Are forumites that call him Boniyeye right? So far, Boni has not done much in the SE jersey to suggest otherwise. Underwhelming performances. It’s up to Boni to redeem his own image.
As for legge legge Umar and all the other strikers we’ve seen so far, they have not done enough to earn our confidence. Apart from Osimhen, we don’t have any other striker we can rely on. Not even one! Time has come to give other strikers a chance. We must find able assistants to Osimhen before the world cup qualifiers resume next March.
Unfortunately, according to your sit-tight gaffer, there is no friendly window before March 2025 qualifiers. We missed a whole year to integrate new faces and now we will be stuck with very familiar spirits, sorry, players. That’s what most of them wanted anyway so that there will hardly be competition for places and our local coach duly obliged them by mentioning so.
No international matches in January and February according to FIFA calendar for men. That means just one thing: we will have to grovel for those players to accept call-ups that they will still stroll into camp 3 hours to match day.
Let NFF know that their tenure will be truncated when eagles bungle the qualifiers. Less endowed nations have very stable technical crew already and we are still groping in darkness.
