Galatasaray Lead Race To Sign Onyekuru On Another Loan Deal From Everton

Galatasaray are leading the race to sign Henry Onyekuru for another season on a loan deal after the Nigerian forward was not assured of a work permit to play for his parent club, Everton next season, Completesports.com can report.

The Turkish club have offered to double the wages of the Nigerian forward old who is keen on ending the season with laurels.

Bayern Munich, Sevilla, Valencia, AS Monaco are also in the race to sign the nimble-footed Onyekuru who has been outstanding for Galatasaray in the Turkish League scoring 15 goals making four assists in 40 games across all competitions as the Yellow and White stay on course for a double in Turkey.

“His chances of playing in England next season are very slim considering the regulations regarding the permit,” a close source to Onyekuru exclusively told Completesports.com.

“He (Onyekuru) needs to meet the requirements first before we can start the process. Hopefully, if he makes the AFCON squad and plays in all the games, that might boost his chances.

“There are offers and we are considering all of them but Gala look more like the primed choice.”

Onyekuru has made nine appearances for the Super Eagles since he made his debut for the three-time African champions scoring one goal in two years.
