Lille manager Christophe Galtier says his men have what it takes to cope with the absence of talismanic forward Victor Osimhen in Friday’s French Ligue 1 clash against champions Paris Saint-Germain, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen will miss the game at the Parc des Princes as a result of suspension.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a good start to his career with Les Dogues following his summer arrival from Belgian club, Sporting Charleroi, scoring seven goals in 13 league appearances for the club.
Despite the Nigeria international’s huge importance to the club, Galtier believes he has other strikers who can shoulder the goal scoring responsibility against their star-studded opponent.

“In our attack, we have Victor who is the most efficient, but other strikers can and know how to score,” Galtier told a news conference on Thursday.
Centre-back Jose Fonte also corroborated his gaffer’s view and added that other forwards must step in Osimhen’s absence.
“Victor (Osimhen) is an important player, he will not be here tomorrow, he will be suspended, that’s how it is, we have a very good team with solutions, and other players need to understand this. They need to make use of the opportunity,” Fonte told reporters.
