Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has heaped plaudits on Joe Aribo following the Nigerian midfielder stellar performance in his first season at the club, reports Completesports.com.
Aribo, who joined Rangers from Charlton Athletic last summer has been one of the key performers for the Gers this season.
The 23-year-old has scored two goals and recorded six assists in 18 league appearances for Rangers in the current campaign.
“Joe (Aribo) has had the freedom to go and play and we feel we are getting the best of him, his form has been fantastic and that is why we tried ever so hard to get him here,”Gerrard told a news conference on Friday.
Aribo is expected to be in action when Rangers travel away to Hearts in a Scottish Premiership clash on Sunday.
