Getafe manager Jose Bordalos is delighted with the arrival of Oghenekaro Etebo at the club and believes the the talented midfielder has the quality to make his team better, reports Completesports.com.
Etebo linked up with LaLiga club on a six-month loan deal on Thursday after failing to get regular playing time under Michael O’Neil at Stoke City.
Getafe can also make the loan permanent in the summer with a purchase option inserted in the deal.
“He is player with with very good qualities and can help the team,”Bordalos told a news conference on Friday.
Getafe will face Badalona in a Copa de Rey clash on Saturday and Bordalos is hopeful the Nigerian will be able to make his debut in the game.
“We are waiting for a document so start Etebo can make his debut tomorrow,”he added.
