Leon Goretzka says he has recovered from his minor leg injury and has declared himself fit for Germany’s Euro 2020 qualifiers. The Bayern Munich midfielder, who missed the last Bundesliga game of the season with a muscle problem, has trained ahead of his country’s upcoming qualifiers against Belarus and Estonia.
Goretzka said: “After my injury at the end of the club season, I have been able to return to full training. I have used this time to cautiously return to full fitness. “Not everyone in the team was able to perform at 100 per cent at the start of the week, but I was integrated back into full training relatively quickly and am fit.”
