Bournemouth’s Dan Gosling faces a race against time to be fit for Saturday’s early kick-off against Tottenham at the Vitality Stadium. The former Everton and Newcastle United midfielder Gosling picked up a calf strain in the 3-3 draw against Southampton last time out and continues to be assessed.

Manager Eddie Howe will be hoping he can call upon the 29-year-old’s services this weekend as his squad continues to battle without a host of their regular first-team players. Simon Francis, Adam Smith, Charlie Daniels, Andrew Surman, Lewis Cook, Diego Rico and Junior Stanislas all remain long-term absentees, but, despite the injury list, the Cherries have still managed to secure the Premier League survival with games to spare.
