Javi Gracia says he feels totally at home at Watford after becoming the club’s longest-serving head coach in the Premier League.

The Spaniard has been in charge for the past 12 months, the draw at Brighton was his 39th match at the helm, and he says he is totally settled at the club.

He has a contract which runs until 2023 and is already the longest-serving coach in recent seasons, with Quique Sanchez Flores, Walter Mazzarri and Marco Silva all coming and going in shorter periods since the club were promoted back in 2015.

Gracia is proud of his efforts, and he told the Observer: “To achieve something like that I think the most important thing is to keep always focused on the next day. “From the moment I arrived here I can say I felt very comfortable and I think it’s a club where I’m feeling really well.

I don’t know the time other coach have been, I don’t know my future in this club but I’m enjoying the present and trying to do my best.”
