“Yes it’s great, it feels super good,” Gravenberch said during an interview with TNT Sports as quoted by Liverpoolfc.com.

“It was the easiest goal of my career so far! It doesn’t matter, a goal is a goal. I think the minutes, just the minutes, you get confidence and I think that’s it. They are (a) really nice, really good group, and also (with) young players. I’m enjoying it.

“I like it, I like it. I think Liverpool did a good job of buying such good players. We are in such a good mood and we’re just playing. I was very happy that they gave me such a good feeling and I want to give them something back.”

Gravenberch has scored one goal and notched one assist in two UEFA Europa League games this season.

He has also made three appearances in the 2023/24 Premier League campaign.

Liverpool are currently in first place in Group E of the Europa League with six points after two matches and in fourth position in the Premier League table with 16 points after seven matches.

They have won the Europa League three times; (1972/73, 1975/76 and 2000/01).

They play Brighton and Hove Albion next in a Premier League game on Sunday, October 8 at the Falmer Stadium.
