‘Where Osimhen Must Improve In His Game’ – Italy’s World Cup Winning Striker

Italy’s 1982 World Cup winner Francesco “Ciccio” Graziani has advised Victor Osimhen on the area he should improve in his game.

Osimhen has been impressive in his second season for Napoli scoring four goals in six appearances in Serie A.

The 22-year-old has so far netted seven goals in eight games in all competitions this campaign.

His displays has not gone unnoticed as Graziani, who was inducted into the Torino Hall of Fame in 2017 for helping the club win the 1975-76 Serie A title has been impressed.

But the 68-year-old Serie A top scorer in the 1976-1977 season, advised the Nigerian to improve his aerial ability.

“He (Osimhen) is a gazelle because when he starts in space, he cannot be stopped,” he told Il Mattino as per TuttoNapoli.

“Not only is he fast, but he is also powerful. In Napoli, he’s irreplaceable, like Koulibaly.

“Osimhen has unique qualities. Now he just has to consecrate himself, and to do that, he has to win a Scudetto or at least the Serie A top scorers’ award.

“He has to improve in the aerial game.”

Osimhen will hope to net his fifth league goal of the season when Napoli host Torino at the Diego Maradona Stadium on Sunday.

Thirteen points separate Napoli and 11th placed Torino in the Serie A table, with a win or a draw good enough to send Luciano Spalletti’s men above AC Milan and back to the league summit.

We also need to hear from his fellow compatriot, Ola Aina of Torino. Osimhen’s contributions to the team has never been in doubt. If he is not scoring, he is hussling for his team mates. One more thing, he has got the knack to deliver the very reason I think Spalleti mostly plays him for full time. Wishing the the lad good outing.

Despite the fact that we were among the have nots in Lagos, I still remembered how in company of Victor, as we call him goes to the crampons dump site on Olusosun in Ojota to pick dirty and worn out football boots from the debris. It was Victor’s sister, don’t know where she is now who will help us to patch the boots while we race to the open field to play san san ball, sometimes we will go to water side by Ogudu Oworonsoki express rd to play. We thank Victor Osimhen for being the one in the limelight today and as old members of Olusosun, we are giving him another moment to flaunt upon himself as plans are in the offing to calve a statue of the Napoli/Nigerian gangling star striker. The statue will be 8feet tall and weighs half a ton but less than Osimhen’s ego. The statue being made to honor the player as Olusosun Ojota is the place where he started his football career back then. It was very tough for us living in Ojota area of Lagos back then. We equally challenge the media to ensure that fans clubs are opened in many cities in Africa to further showcase Osimhen to the continent. Go score goals our guy, you gat our back.

What a player one moment he is helping the defense next moment he is scoring goals. I have not seen a striker working very hard like him. The guy is heading to the top. He is a 90mins player hardly tire out. Today he has proven he can score goals whether heading or shooting so far opportunity present itself. Keep it up boy! Happy to see chukwueze back.

@ Koffi, he chooses to fight back from behind is clearly his problem. There is no harm in trial afterall it is his calling to continue dropping names of his people with backlashes every now and then. Well. Before I doze off, I do the Asbach Uralt with subtle sweetness and peppery nuances that are accompanied by aromas and flavors reminiscent of honey, vanilla, caramel, plums, nuts, chocolate, and coffee. Thatz Hugo Asbach for you. symptoms of a day not well spent, confusion gradually sets in as the brawl goes dirty. Drink a little brodaman,
