Arsenal have been linked with a swoop for goalkeeper Markus Schubert who is set to leave Dynamo Dresden this summer.
Dynamo president Holger Scholze confirmed before Sunday’s 3-1 2 Bundesliga home win against Paderborn that the 20-year-old Germany Under-21 shot-stopper would be departing the club in the transfer window.

Schubert didn’t give any indication of where he will be heading to, but reports claim he has already appointed an agent who specialises in negotiating moves to the Premier League.
Arsenal are the most likely destination given that Petr Cech has retired and is departing the Emirates Stadium this summer so a gap in Gunners’ boss Unai Emery’s squad is available alongside first-choice custodian and Schubert’s fellow compatriot Bernd Leno.
