Manchester City midfielder Enzo Fernández has described Erling Haaland as an “animal, a beast” after combining for a goal in City’s UEFA Champions League win over Porto.
Enzo told Prime Video Sport UK that every time he is on the pitch, he will look for Haaland to provide assists, calling him an amazing player and human being.

He provided the assist for Haaland’s opening goal in the 47th minute of the 2-0 victory at the Estádio do Dragão.
Haaland scored a second-half brace in the match, continuing his dominant start to the season.
“Haaland is an animal, a beast.
“Every time I’m on the pitch I will look for him.
“Hopefully I can give him more assists.
“Haaland is not just a great player but an amazing human being as well and he welcomed me here and has helped me.
“I’m so happy, they welcomed me from the first minute when I walked into the door. Not just brilliant players but they’re amazing human beings and they’ve all been so kind to me.

For Enzo, who transferred from Chelsea to Manchester City, this was his first Champions League match for the “Citizens”.
Haaland has scored 59 goals in 59 Champions League matches. He ranks 7th on the list of the top scorers in the history of the tournament.
