Achraf Hakimi’s agent says a permanent move beyond his current loan deal at Borussia Dortmund would interest the defender.
The Moroccan international joined Der BVB on a two-year loan in the summer, with Real Madrid keen to give him a chance to develop elsewhere.
Minutes in the full-back positions were likely to be limited at the Bernabeu due to the presence of Dani Carvajal and Marcelo and Hakimi has excelled in Germany, making the left-back role his own, while also impressing when given a chance on his favoured right-hand side.
The deal seems to be working out well for both the 20-year-old and Borussia but sporting director Michael Zorc has suggested that he is playing so well that Real may be ready to bring him back once his loan expires.
However, the player’s agent, Martin Camano, says the youngster would consider the opportunity to remain at Signal Iduna Park long-term. “It’s no secret that he feels totally comfortable in Dortmund. He can imagine staying longer at Dortmund,” Camano told Bild.
“Achraf is very grateful to the BVB for giving him the chance to develop.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
