Hamburg are said to be lining up a swoop for Karim Ansarifard, who currently play his football with English Championship side Nottingham Forest. Ansarifard joined Forest from Olympiacos in November 2018 following delays obtaining a work permit and went on to play 12 times last term, bagging two goals in the process.

Despite failing to make a big impact, that is not stopping reports suggesting there is plenty of interest in him, with Hamburg among the clubs said to be keen. Forest are happy to sell in order to raise transfer funds for their own signings this summer, and are said to be looking for a fee in the region of £4million.
Hamburg are not the only interested party though as Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers and Turkish side Besiktas are also said to be in the hunt for his signature. It means Hamburg will have to move quickly if they wish to wrap up a deal for the striker.
