Hazard Uncertain On Blues Future

Eden Hazard has admitted he does not know if he has played his last game at Stamford Bridge after helping Chelsea to the Europa League final.

The Belgium international, who has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid ahead of the summer transfer window, scored the decisive penalty as the Blues were taken to a shoot-out in their semi-final showdown with Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night.

Hazard was coy about his Chelsea future after the full-time whistle and said his focus is now on beating Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku.

When asked whether this might have been his last appearance at The Bridge, he told BT Sport: “I don’t think about that.

I’m only thinking about winning something for this club and this squad. If it’s my last game I will try to do everything for this club to win a trophy.

In my mind I don’t know yet [if it will be his last game].” Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Luka Jovic both scored in the 90 minutes on Thursday night but there was little to separate the two teams in west London.

Kepa Arrizabalaga made two saves in the resulting shoot-out before Hazard stepped up to slot home the winning spot-kick.
