The new Naze Millionaires helmsman visited the team’s youth team training session Thursday as well as the Naze Camp of the club as he started looking to improve the fortunes of the four-time league champions.
At the Dan Anyiam training pitch of the Feeder Team, Chief Ifeanyi did not waste time in voicing his intention to rebrand the club.
He made it clear that all sections of Heartland FC will be rejuvenated in a bid to achieve the set objectives of taking the team to greater heights.
The new General Manager enjoined the technical crew of the club to be committed in the discharge of their duties.
“My administration will be anchored on sincere commitment to our set goals which is ensuring we succeed this season,” Chief Ifeanyi said, adding that the management of Heartland under his watch will embrace the state government’s policy framework which centres on rebuilding IMO State.
He added: “Heartland will not be left out in the rebuilding process, bearing in mind that football as a sport will help attract Imo people to embrace all state government’s rebuilding policies.”
At the Naze camp of the club, Chief Ifeanyi inspected the facilities and promised that renovation work will commence immediately to improve the state of the camp for the comfort of the players.
“The state of the camp must be upgraded to suit the standard befitting of our club which is a brand in the nation’s football circle,” he concluded.
A statement by Ori Martins, of the Heartland Media, revealed that the new boss is scheduled to continue his assessment tour in the days ahead in a bold effort to ensure all necessary arrangements are put in place for a successful take off in the 2019/2020 NPFL season.
