Nigeria National League (NNL) outfit Heartland have unveiled former Super Eagles winger, Emmanuel Amuneke as their new head coach.
Amuneke was unveiled by Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma at his office on Monday.
The 53-year-old’s last managerial stint was with Egyptian club Misr Lel-Makkasa where he served until February 2021.

Heartland were relegated from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season.
The Naze Millionaires finished in 18th position on the NPFL table.
There are reports that the Owerri club are in talks with newly promoted club, Beyond Limits Academy to purchase their NPFL slot.

@deo, seriously speaking, I believe that Amunike is a decent coach. But he needs to fine tune his skills and gain more experience in league football before moving up to bigger responsibilities.
I hope he does well.
