Hogg – Town Won’t ‘Go Down With A Whimper’

Jonathan Hogg says Huddersfield Town will keep fighting to the end and won’t “go down with a whimper”.

Hogg believes morale in the camp is good even after the Terriers endured an awful run, which has left them 14 points adrift of safety with just 12 Premier League matches to play.

“The goal towards the end (of the Arsenal game) has lifted the lads; they’re positive in the dressing room,” Hogg told the club’s official website.

“We needed a performance like that, we needed a goal to give the fans something to cheer about. We have taken the positives and moved on.

“We worked really hard to get into the Premier League, so we aren’t going to go down with a whimper. We will give it all the fight we’ve got.

“We will keep fighting. We are Huddersfield Town, we won’t forget who we are and where we’ve come from.”
