Home-Eagles Off To Lome For Togo Clash

The Home-Based Super Eagles have travelled to Lome for the first leg of their 2020 African Nations Championship, first leg, final qualifying round fixture against Togo, reports Completesports.com.

20 players and the coaches led by Imama Amapakabo as well as backroom staffs made the trip.

The team departed the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja on Friday for the game.

“Off To Lomé, Togo for the first leg final Round #TotalChan2020Q. #TOGNGA #SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong,” reads a Tweet on the official Twitter handle of the Nigeria Football Federation on Friday.

The game will hold on Sunday at the 30,000 capacity Stade De Kegue, Lome, on Saturday.

The reverse fixture will come up a fortnight later in Nigeria.

The Eagles made it to the final of the last edition of the CHAN losing 4-0 to hosts Morocco in the final.
