Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe says he knows nothing about Chelsea’s reported buy-back clause in Nathan Ake’s contract. The Cherries shelled out £20million to sign the Netherlands international from Chelsea in the summer of 2017 and his performances over the past couple of seasons are believed to have attracted the interest of Tottenham Hotspur.
However, it is now being claimed the Blues are looking to re-sign the 23-year-old defender during the current transfer window and that they agreed a £40m buy-back clause when selling him.

Howe, who is hoping to add more additions to his squad having snapped up Nathaniel Clyne and Dominic Solanke, was quizzed about the rumours following Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Everton and the English tactician revealed the stories are news to him.
He said in his post-match interview: “I know nothing about that, that’s for another day.”
