Huddersfield Looking At Local Hitman

Huddersfield are reportedly considering a swoop for Hull City striker Fraizer Campbell as they plan for life back in the Championship. The 31-year-old has bagged 12 goals in 36 Championship appearances this season and he could be available on a free when the campaign ends.

His current deal is set to expire in the summer and Hull are yet to offer up fresh terms, sparking interest from Huddersfield. Campbell was born in Huddersfield but has never represented his hometown club after being snapped up by Manchester United as a teenager.

Huddersfield have struggled for goals this term and are likely to be in the market for reinforcements in attack. Karlan Ahearne-Grant has provided more threat in the final third since arriving from Charlton in January and a partnership with Campbell could prove to be fruitful.
