  • A top class expatriate of Ghanaian origin – the perfect balance to satisfy all parties. A win-win for both proponents of indigenous coach as well as supporters of foreign coach.

But NFF will never bother to chat with Mike Emenalo, Olofinjana, Egbo and the likes or tap from their deep knowledge of the game at the international level.

Which top coach? He was part of the Otto addo technical team that messed up our wc games!!

National team coaching is different from club and I doubt him a lot!!

Ghana wasn’t terrible in the world cup from my assessment.
Though they were disappointing in the last group game but was brave and courageous in the Portugal and Korean games respectively, they should build on that performances,I see a light at the end of the tunnel.

          Greenturf

We came last in the group and when we only needed a draw to qualified to the second round, we cldnt do it, so what shows that, we did well!!

We had a great team that was poorly coached!

Ghana had a great talent team with a sick technical team lead by Otto and Chris!!

Watch this space, this man ll be fired at the end of it all!

I wish him nothing but the best but I already know he isn’t cut for the job!!

          Forget about his EPL background

Our team was horrible esp in defense

@Selfmade,that same bad coach according to you thwarted our Eguavoen haha…! Eguavoen must be terribly poor then!

Greenturf I support you on this the Team at the World Cup were not bad at all, the teams downfall was as a result of the Uruguay revenge mindset instead of building on their first two performances. Addo didn’t do badly and I doubt if Hughton will do bad. The players were to blame and not the coach.

      • @Selfmade, Ghana exited the WC in the first round but were definitely not disgraced. They exited with their heads held high.

Oddo seriously impressed within the short time he was at the held – and he’s quite a young man given what he achieved. I’m sure he’ll be back at the helm sometime in the future, even more experienced. Dude is a gold treasure for you guys. Better cherish him.

Selfmade KING, What are u talking about? There is difference between you been part of the technical team and you been the ultimate decision maker. Was Chris Hughton the one taking decisions as to who plays and who does not?? Did u see Otto Addo consulting Chris whenever he is making substitutions or playing a particular formation? Yes he was part of the technical team but was not even found on the bench, he was not making call ups, he was not deciding which player plays and was not effecting substitutions so give him a break. As a Ghanaian I like this appointment bcos now he will take full responsibility of team and not that inexperience Otto Addo

So according to u, he was the head of the technical team  and wasn’t on the bench etc so what shows that he isn’t going to be manipulated again as before?

If u are the head of the technical team and as experienced as he is touted to be and he just went along with the bandwagon, then this should tell u that, he is going to be easily manipulated by the gfa!!

The gfa knew why they appointed him in the first olace, he is soft!!

I wish him nothing but the best and am not a prophet of doom, but this man isn’t going to do anything for our team as he is an easy target for the MAFIA CARTEL alas the gfa!

These fa members are hardened  seasonal criminals  and they ll easily manipulate and control this man like a CHEWING STICK!!

      Mark it down today!

Another thing to note is this coach will better organise the Ghanaian team due to his experience as an ex EPL coach, I also expect players like Hudson Odoi and Edward Nketiah to be swayed by this move and commit to BS. It’s a win for Ghana if only GFA fully supports the coach with all he asks and the coach should also avoid distractions plus zero tolerance to Juju by the players or staffers.

Yeah @Chima Nketiah especially, but hey be careful what you wish..!haha…
Meanwhile,Ghana has some promising speedsters like Samadaa of Southampton might have got the name wrong pardon me!Another from Genk Bukari, this two wingers are very quick I doubt there are faster wingers than the aforementioned in Africa, and you have Ajax Kudus playing behind hopefully Nketiah, some squad me think.
