Brighton coach Chris Hughton insists January signings are not needed as he is happy with his current squad.
Seagulls fans have been waiting for transfer news all month but Hughton is happy to let the window shut without any activity. Brighton currently sit seven points clear of the Premier League relegation zone after 24 games of the season.
Hughton’s men have not won any of their last four games in all competitions but he insists he is pleased with their strength in depth. “Our thoughts approaching this one was that we didn’t need to do any business,” he is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
“And any business we would have done would have been because somebody became available that we didn’t think (was), or an injury. I’m delighted (with Brighton’s squad).
And I can tell you now, if I felt that we needed to do something, I would have been pushing and I would have made sure that we can’t take any chances. “For us, it’s very much making sure we stay in this division.
I think what we’ve got, and the level of competition, we are covered in every area. “We’re close to a full squad and a full squad means a competitive squad.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
