Member of the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Tony Aubynn said he had a dream in which the Black Stars won the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Aubynn said this at the Stars4Qatar promo launch at the GFA headquarters in Accra, Ghana sounding optimistic.
” I dreamt we were presenting the World Cup trophy back home in Ghana,” Ghana Web quoted Aubynn as saying.
“I say this with conviction that we would win. In 2006 no one gave the Black Stars a chance, but, we beat the number two in the World which was Czech Republic and reached the round of 16, and in 2010, we were almost going to win until the unthinkable happened.

“With God on our side ,we are going to succeed.”
Ghana are in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
The Black Stars have qualified for four World Cups, Germany 2006, South Africa 2010, Brazil 2014 and Qatar 2022.
The 2022 World Cup will run from November 20 to December 18 in Qatar.

its only in Africa that we dream of winning everything while teams in Europe and America are preparing adequately. dreams don’t win matches long term planning couple with good resources in terms of skilful players do. even with long term planning it is still not hopeful you can win World Cup otherwise countries like Belgium would have won it . so mr dreamer no African team is ready for World Cup trophy . that cup belongs to countries that have the tradition and the culture which is winning mentality. do you know how long it took Spain to win it and besides winning the tournament requires a stable economy . Just pray you win 2 to 3 matches and come back to Africa.

Ghana go play Brazil this month. That’s a great test for the Black Stars, let’s support the Black Stars, they are a fantastic side. In 2010,they almost made it to the semis, very exciting to see them play, very strong on the ball, very skillful and very confident. I think they are the best African performers in the world Cup, they have a very good record in the tournament and their group is fairly good. They will make Africa proud. Support the Black Stars
Ghana will do well to qualify from the group stage. Winning the World Cup is just a mirage. The only African team that possess the calibre of stars to do well at the big Stage is Senegal. Take it or leave it.

You dream with a warm cold season or a hunger dreams for a loaf; winning World Cup needs many factors like a team have a versified and organized administrative and excellent technical arrays, that means have an excellent coaching crew and excellent players from defence to forward , have a good camp and prepratio and high friendly matches, have good players at great clubs in Europe or South America who have championship soul.Ghana haven’t won Afcon. since 1982 cause they haven’t excellent arrys of box to box forwards or they have not been playing with an excellen attacking philosophy like SE ; also SE have not won Afcon. Cup more than three time cause they have not been playing with strong and agressive defensive play from back line to midfield line; Ghanain commentators valuate with your brains or mines not with your hearts.
