The 25-year-old is now just two goals shy of his tally last season.

And the Nigeria international is determined to increase his goal haul before the end of the campaign.

“I have always said I want to improve my numbers and leave my impact on the game, so I am happy that I have been able to do that of late and hopefully I can keep pushing,” Aribo said after the home win.

“We also want to score as many goals as possible, we want to put a statement out to the rest of the league and hopefully we can keep doing that.”

  • Just two goals shy of his tally last season, I see him suppassing that feat. Aribo has firmly established himself as one of Ranger’s finest attacking midfielders to be proud of. Be it dead-ball, key passes, or late runs into the box, he is as refreshing on the pitch as he is in his person.
Many unquantifiables go into determining such a consistent attacking midfielder like Aribo. Most of these might even reflect upon my subjectivity, meaning you might agree with some of my posits on this lad, or none at all. Either way, we have a lad with potentials to conquer Africa. Some pundits have said he hasn’t been properly deployed in SE squad, the coach has got to look into that for better efficiency. Good luck Aribo, God bless Nigeria.
