Former Nigerian international, Vincent Enyeama has expressed his readiness to be part of the Super Eagles coaching crew if he ‘s offered the job.

Recall that the 41-year-old announced his shock retirement in 2015 after making over a 100 appearances.

“Becoming a goalkeeper coach, first of all, I’m not yet certified. If they want me to be like Zidane, who was not yet certified, but Real Madrid had faith in him, it can happen.

“I don’t have a problem if they wake up tomorrow and say, Vincent, come and be part of the setup- I will gladly do it. I can never say no to my country, I have always said that.

“I can never say no to Nigeria. I will bring my experience over the years in Europe, and we will do it. But they have to call me first.”

These bunch of old players, does not have what it takes to manage these current SE Players ego. There will even be power tussle between these guys and disunity now and then in the camp.A no nonsense, shrewd, tactical and disciplined foreign coach is what we need not local mushroom.

    • My brother, tactically I will pick Ladan Bosso. He knows how to whip players into shape, arrange them tactically and play in an organised manner.

But the Super Eagles job is way too big for him to handle. He seems inexperienced in commanding the respect of high profile players whilst the NFF will just push him around like a ragdoll.

Also, his (alleged) preference for players of a particular ethnicity and religion is also a shortcoming for me.

But, when it comes to purely brand of football, Bosso is my man. I don’t think Amuneke and even Eguavoen are as tactically organised as Bosso but yet again I have never seen Bosso manage a senior national team.

Emmanuel Amuneke: Serial failure, couldnt qualify a star studded U-20 for Wcup and got dumped by a lowly rated team, got dumped by national teams demoted to club’s junior teams for technical defiency. Had an opportunity to revive his coaching career with Eguavoen but his ego let him down, felt superior, passing counter instructions. Now out of job for years and running after polls begging for the highest coaching job with no record to show. He should be allowed to test his capabilities with Heartland, afterall Finidi has validated his coaching training with Enyimba.
Only corrupt and delusional football federation will offer a serial failure the highest coaching job.

I have said it before that Nigeria needs you, Enyeama, and Ikeme to be the new goalkeeper trainers.

Super Eagles need goalkeeper trainers who can discover new talent for goalkeepers.

As I said on another trend, the current NFF has nothing to offer Nigeria. The best the government can do is to ask them to vacate their positions and ask ex players of ours to step in. Enyeama, Ikeme, Amunike, and his assistants will lead us to the promised land in a timely manner, shikena. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
