Shanghai Greenland Shenhua new signing, Odion Ighalo is set to make his official debut for his new club in a Chinese Super League game against Shanghai SIPG on Friday, March 1st, Completesports.com reports.
And that is when the 2019 season formally kicks off with Ighalo admitting it promises to be a tough match, considering that SIPG won the league title last term.
The former Watford ace retweeted a post of his official Fans Twitter account revealing his plans for the upcoming derby while also posting pictures of his efforts in personal training.

“The Chinese Super League season will begin officially on the 1st of March, Shanghai Shenhua will play their first game against last season’s league champions, Shanghai SIPG,” the Tweet reads.
“Odion Ighalo scored 3 goals against them while playing for ChangChun Yatai, #HereToCreate.”
