Kelechi Iheanacho has revealed Pep Guardiola played a crucial role in his development as a player.
Iheanacho played for one season under Guardiola during his stint at Manchester City.
The Nigeria international also had the opportunity of learning from top towards like; Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko, Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo during the period.
The 27-year-old will spend the next two seasons at Sevilla after leaving Leicester City earlier in the summer.
The striker is determined to help the LaLiga club do well in the league.
“I have learned a lot playing alongside those players and from a great coach like Pep. They are legends,”Iheanacho told the club’s official website.
“I hope that everything I learned there, I can contribute everything to this club and help it reach greater heights.”

Iheanacho received offers from several clubs after leaving Leicester City.
The striker confessed Sevilla was the best option for him.
“Yes, there were offers from many clubs. But yes, obviously, there was a clear idea of what they want me to do here and why they brought me here in football terms,” he added.
“I was very clear about coming here. I’m going to take advantage and give it my all, I hope it’s a great opportunity.”
Iheanacho also highlighted the important role Sevilla sporting director, Victor Orta played in the transfer.
“Víctor is a great person, he played a great role. Obviously, he has been watching me for a long time and knows the player who I am,” he stated.
” He has also done a great job for the club. He played an important role in bringing me here and we also had a good relationship. ”
