Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho Carabao Cup goal against Burton Albion has been nominated for Leicester City’s goal of the Month for October, reports Completesports.com.
Iheanacho opened scoring for the Foxes in the seventh minute of the encounter against the League One side at the Pirelli Stadium.
The former Manchester City player finished off brilliantly after he was teed up by Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans.
It was his second goal of the competition for the former Premier League champions this season in what was his first start of the campaign.
Other players nominated for the award includes ; James Maddison, Ayoze Perez, Khanya Leshabela, Jamie Vardy, Tielemans and another Nigerian youngster Josh Eppiah.
Leicester City fans are expected to vote for the favourite goal as voting ends on Sunday, November 10, according to the club’s official website.
